Accessibility

Built for clear reading and practical use.

Accessibility is part of the GardenWorkbench build, not a final-page add-on. This page records current commitments and the work still required before launch.

Current status: The site uses semantic headings, visible focus states, skip links, labeled controls and responsive layouts. A full independent accessibility audit has not yet been completed.

Current commitments

  • Use one clear page heading and a logical heading order.
  • Keep navigation, language switching and planner controls keyboard reachable.
  • Provide labels for form fields, buttons and status messages.
  • Maintain readable contrast and avoid relying on color alone.
  • Keep layouts usable on small screens without horizontal scrolling.
  • Describe meaningful images with contextual alternative text.

Known limits

The planner remains a prototype and has not completed testing with screen readers, voice control, magnification, low-vision settings or a broad keyboard-only test group. The app page is a product preview, not a verified native application. Some future downloads, emails and payment interfaces do not exist yet and therefore cannot be assessed as live services.

Content and language

English, Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese routes are maintained separately. We aim to keep headings, controls, warnings and article content in the selected language rather than mixing translated and English paragraphs.

Report a barrier

The contact route provides a direct email channel for reporting an inaccessible page, missing alternative text, keyboard issue or language problem.

Next review

Before indexing or paid promotion, we will run representative keyboard, mobile, contrast, screen-reader and form checks, document remaining issues and avoid claiming full conformance without evidence.
